January is notoriously one of the busiest months of the year to book a wedding. Many people use Christmas as an opportunity to get down on one knee and ask the magic question. With the doom and gloom that is January (not even mentioning Covid), everyone wants something to look forward to.
With the ‘stay at home’ message coming from BoJo and face to face wedding show rounds being prohibited, we have come up with a cunning plan!
Soraya Zooms forward
Our gorgeous Spanish Señorita Soraya, has worked as a wedding & events manager in some of the most prestigious hotels in London, including The Corinthia and The Lanesborough. We are so blessed to have her, as she comes with fantastic ideas and a huge wealth of experience to make any couple feel at ease.
Soraya is offering a personalised virtual show round. Over the popular Zoom app, Soraya will walk couples throughout the whole venue, explaining where each part of their celebrations will happen. Starting in the reception, Soraya will walk you through the bar area, up to The Chatsworth Suite, through the gardens, to the bedrooms, our stunning new bridal suite and finishing off in the restaurant.
Availability for 2021, 2022 and beyond
With The Maynard being under new ownership as of January 2020, under the circumstances we were fortunate not to have many weddings booked. The pandemic has been tough on the wedding industry as well as brides and grooms who have had their plans disrupted. It has also affected many newly engaged couples looking to tie the knot in the not too distant future.
We are able to offer many dates still for the latter part of this year (when restrictions allow) in addition to having peak (and non-peak) dates for 2022.
