Wine Tasting Dinners at The Maynard
This autumn/winter join us at The Maynard for a series of themed wine pairing dinners.
Taking place in our newly renovated Chatsworth Suite, tables of up to six people will enjoy a delicious three-course set menu, expertly crafted by head chef Adrian Gagea, in collaboration with local wine expert John Hattersley from Hattersley Wines.
Wine pairing is an art form and this evening promises to be insightful and inspirational for any foodie or wine lover. Learn which flavours are enhanced by certain wines and the science behind wine pairing.
Take your new-found knowledge and apply it to your next dinner party or aid your future wine choices when eating out.
We have created our special wine tasting dinners to reflect certain countries and wine regions of the world. Our menus will follow the flavours, cooking techniques and styles of the country in question with rare and exciting wines from each country paired with each course.
On arriving at The Chatsworth Suite, you will be greeted with an arrival drink to clear your palette ready for your food and wine painting experience. With each course there will be wines to sample, with John Hattersley on hand to bring each wine to life and explain his methods and motivation for picking each complementing wine.
