WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO HAVE THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO RIGHT NOW
The fires are lit, the place is cosy and the views through the huge windows here at The Maynard reflects back a striking flame-coloured landscape.
Autumn is a wonderful season of new harvests, cooler climates and seasonal change. It is a chance for us here at The Maynard to welcome you warmly with open arms (at a social distance of course – no hugging!) to experience locally grown in-season produce, locally sourced wines and locally produced beers.
As our palates change and crave more hearty dishes we reflect the mood of the season with flavoursome comforting classic dishes served amongst a backdrop of roaring fires and panoramic views of the Hope Valley landscape.
We love it here at The Maynard. We are in the heart of what is arguably the most beautiful place on earth and a stone's throw from historic destinations that are always worth exploring.
THE SUNDAY STAYCATION
That's exactly why we have created a cosy and comfortable Sunday Staycation package for couples, families and friends to have an excuse to get away from your usual four walls and take some necessary time out.
With holidays not possible for many this year and in the middle of what has been the worst global crisis in our lifetime, there has never been a more important moment to stop, reflect, relax and recuperate. I truly believe that having things to look forward to and booking dates in the diary for experiences and adventures give us some hope and happiness in an otherwise uncertain time.
Knowing that many people are looking to 'holiday at home' we have created an amazing staycation package that includes delicious food, drink and a dreamy night between our luxurious sheets. We're nestled in the heart of the Peak District with incredible walking trails, cycling routes and cultural venues to explore.
Sunday Staycation – £109 per two people sharing
- A night's stay in a supreme double room (upgrade your room for an additional supplement)
- £25 allocation towards 2-course Sunday lunch on arrival or that evening
- Full English breakfast
You can also upgrade for a second night's bed and breakfast for just £70 per couple. Well-behaved dogs are permitted in a limited number of bedrooms and welcome to join you in the bar area.
We expect bookings to be popular for this brilliantly low-cost package so make sure you secure your booking today. For more information on our staycation package click here.
