Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3? Deary me.

We know you’re as confused as Dominic Cummings with a compass when it comes to these new rules, so we thought we would spread a bit of cheer and remind you what glorious things you CAN do to #enjoymore at The Maynard right now.

Currently, at the time of writing, we are within Tier 1 so the following rules apply.

How to #EnjoyMore with delicious dishes and intriguing wines

RULE: The “rule of six” applies, meaning socialising in groups larger than six people is prohibited whether indoors or outdoors.

Grab five of your mates, book a meal at The Maynard or why not get yourselves booked onto one of our wine tasting events, Sunday lunch events with live music or book ahead for Christmas?

How to #EnjoyMore earlier

RULE: Businesses and venues can continue to operate but pubs and restaurants must ensure customers only consume food and drink while seated, and close between 10 pm and 5 am.

Grab five of your friends or loved ones and why not book your meal earlier than you usually would? Come straight from your last Zoom call or make a lovely day of it on the weekend? Don’t forget Wednesday is Grill Night (although technically it’s Grill Day as 30% off all grill dishes starts from midday).

How to #EnjoyMore of The Maynard at home

RULE: Takeaway food can continue to be sold.

Yes, we are able to cook any dish off the menu and make it available as a takeaway option. We can even do takeaway Afternoon Tea or Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea too! So why not #enjoymore of The Maynard without having to get dressed up and head out.

How to #EnjoyMore at The Maynard when you’re getting wed

RULE: Weddings can go ahead with restrictions on 15 people in attendance.

Why not explore how to make a small and intimate wedding truly memorable? Our wedding and events manager, Soraya is the expert on all things weddings and would love to chat to you about how to make your day the best ever – even with a smaller guest list.
