We’re chuffed to bits to announce our latest event at The Maynard – pictures in the peaks!

Our gorgeous gardens are the perfect setting to get cosy under a blanket, watch the sun set over the Peak District and settle in front of the big screen for a family-friendly film night.

Running across two (hopefully) warm nights in early September, we’re bringing you two absolute blockbusters, complete with feel-good live music to get you warmed up for the main event, a mouth-watering hog roast and outdoor bars. Not your average cinema experience!

Have the time of your life with Baby and Johnny as we take you back to experience a classic 1987 romance.

Dirty Dancing is a firm favourite for most generations with its cringy entertaining choreography and memorable one-liners.

So, get practicing your big lifts and carrying watermelons and join us for this heart-warming story told so perfectly by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

P.T. Barnum and his cast of extraordinary eccentrics invite you to come alive and gaze in awe at their spellbinding circus performance.

The Greatest Showman offers a topsy-turvy journey through the life and times of one of history’s most extravagant curators of curiosities.

Whether you’re a modest foot-tapper or prefer to belt out the ballads Jenny Lind-style, we can’t wait to see you on the other side for this one.

Arrive from 6pm, when you’ll be greeted with live music and the irresistible aromas of our sizzling hog roast.

Settle down to enjoy the film at approximately 8pm, and remember to bring a blanket to snuggle up in. No need for picnic chairs – we’ll provide the seating.

Dress for the weather, because even the rain won’t stop us! (Unless it's really bad… then we will move inside and carry on regardless!)

Stay refreshed – order drinks on our app or head to one of the outdoor bars throughout the evening.

There’s plenty of facilities to make it a comfortable evening, from free parking to proper on-site toilets, and even a bed for the night if you choose to stay with us.
