Ok, we’ll admit that’s a little cringey, but we do promise that if you visit The Maynard for Christmas this year, you’ll have a cracker of a time, will leave feeling stuffed and perhaps a little merry.

Last year, so many of us experienced a Christmas like never before, and we’re hoping for the same this year… no, not in that way! We want to make it one to remember, for all the right reasons!

So, throw on your glad rags and join us by the fire for a glass of fruity mulled wine and a classic mince pie – don’t deny that we’re getting you into the spirit already!

If you’re familiar with the way we work, you know that we’re not about to host a half-hearted December. There’s so much happening at The Maynard (and The George!) that you’ll be counting down to 2022 before you know it!

Festive Menu

1^st – 30^th December (excluding Christmas day)

It’s never too early in the month to start celebrating, whether it’s an office outing or a family reunion. So, get ready to tuck into turkey and pig out on parsnips, because our team will be preparing the most mouth-watering food using fresh, local ingredients.

Choose from a 2 or 3-course meal, and if you pay your deposit by 31^st October, you’ll get a glass of sparkling wine on us!

Christmas Day Menu

25^th December

If you don’t fancy cooking on the big day itself, let us do the hard work for you! We’re pulling out all the stops with our Christmas Day menu, which includes a celebratory glass of Bucks’ Fizz or a soft drink.

You won’t need to lift a finger – well, except to enjoy your fresh, seasonal 3-course dinner!

New Year’s Eve menu

31^st December

See in the new year with Longbow. Join us for an early celebration with a delicious lunch or make a whole evening of it – our bar is open until 1am so you can welcome 2022 in style.

We’re already counting down and can’t wait to see you there!

Make a night of it

Literally… a whole night! Our hotel is open for bookings throughout the whole of December, so if you’ve stuffed yourself silly, you don’t even need to think about driving home – book one of our cosy rooms and sleep off the celebrations in total comfort.

Private dining

Looking to go all out with a private party? We can accommodate groups of up to 30 at The George, and up to 120 at The Maynard! So for an extra special way to round off the year, let us help you organise an unforgettable party night!
