Hugely exciting times over at our sister venue, The George in Hathersage. They have recently finished refurbishing loads of their rooms, and they look simply delightful!

Each welcoming and comfortable room is completely individual in style, with unique furnishings giving a completely new experience with every single visit.

Every room is named after a character from Charlotte Bronte's 'Jane Eyre', which was famously based on Hathersage and includes references to The George. It is said that Bronte actually stayed at the historic venue, even basing a character on it's then landlord!
