Exciting Renovations and Improvements for 2023 at The Maynard

From January 9, 2023 to Feb 3, 2023 we will be closed at The Maynard while we work on some exciting renovations and updates. Don't worry though – our sister venue, The George Hathersage will be open with some delicious dining discounts for you. Click here to find out how you can save at The George this January.

Bathroom Updates in the Hotel

We've already completely renovated every hotel room and even added more bedrooms at The Maynard. We have been eagerly anticipating this 2023 closure so we can work on the last few bathroom upgrades. 

Restaurant Refurbishment

Here's the mood board for the new look and feel of the restaurant. We're working with Concorde BGW, award-winning design and build specialists to create the right look and feel.

Expect lots of new new comfortable seating, new floors, new furnishings and bringing it into the modern day with a contemporary countrified image.

Outdoor Improvements

After a stonking summer at The Maynard, we'll also be working on our outdoor space. We'll be adding in more seating and at your request, it will be comfy and stylish too! (Not just wooden benches). We hope our outdoor space will feel like an extension of our beautiful hotel, wedding venue and restaurant. 

We will be back open on February 3rd at midday.
