The Muddy Awards celebrate small independent lifestyle businesses across the country.
As an independent business, we love that these awards honour those small organisations that go it alone without the big backing of giant corporate machines.
It’s rewarding but challenging as an Indie and we couldn’t do what we do at The Maynard and The George without your support.
We are therefore looking for your support in the following categories of The Muddy Awards 2023;
- Best Boutique Stay Under 30 Rooms (The Maynard)
- Best Destination Pub (The George, Hathersage)
Voting for us in these prestigious awards takes a few clicks and you can really help us continue to put the Peak District independents on the map.

It will take you to this page. Add your email address to the box as demonstrated below and use the drop-down menu to choose which category you’d like to vote in. We’re kindly asking for votes in the Destination Pub for The George Hathersage and Best Boutique Stay Under 30 Rooms for The Maynard.

Select us from the list and press the pink enter button.

Check your inbox for your voting verification link. Your vote DOES NOT COUNT until this last step has been actioned. This is to ensure that no bots are used to gather votes and makes the process fair and legit. Press the pink verify vote button. This will take you to the next step.
Step 5
Finally, you will arrive at this last step and need to confirm your vote. Check who you have voted for and click ‘confirm your vote’.
You can then repeat these steps to vote for us in the following categories;

You can finally enter into the Muddy Awards competition to win a £1200 stay in the Lake District once you have submitted your votes.
