Job Vacancy – Talent & Succession Manager for Longbow Venues.

In this role, you’ll know who our internal talent is and will keep in touch with them between our talent review processes, championing them for new positions.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the business and managers to develop functional structures that deliver succession opportunities, creating career paths and connecting gaps between succession needs and talent potential across the company. 

You will also ensure effective career conversations and personal development planning, support individual growth, strategic workforce planning and organisation design – having the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent

  • Conduct interviews and manage the hiring process

  • Develop and plan top talent career path

  • Conduct induction and teaming training

  • Train employees to ensure they have confidence within their role

  • Standardise training to maintain high standards

  • Build relationships across the business to understand hiring needs

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to ensure success

  • Ensure recruitment processes are followed

  • Manage employment probationary period and appraisals

  • Devising and implementing employee welfare initiatives

    Requirements:

In-depth experience of the hospitality industry

  • Experience in recruitment and training

  • Commutable distance from the Peak District

  • Passion for people

  • Full driving license
