LONGBOW SHORTLISTED IN EAST MIDLANDS CHAMBER BUSINESS AWARDS

It gives us great pleasure to announce that we are finalists in the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards 2023.

The awards see around 1250 businesses from Derbyshire. Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire come together to celebrate the best of East Midlands business.

We’re finalists in the following categories;

Apprentice of the Year – Leah Bancroft

This is the award we are most excited about and the one that means the most. Leah has been a superstar since joining us at Longbow, working hard at The Maynard. She’s an exceptional member of the team and has proved herself with brilliant results and feedback from her manager and tutors as she has worked towards her apprenticeship.

This award recognises the rising stars who will become the business leaders of tomorrow. Open to all current or past apprentices of any age who can demonstrate they have made an exceptional contribution to their workplace.

Entrepreneur of the Year – Rob Hattersley

This Award recognises the contribution of a dynamic, creative and visionary business leader. It seeks to define the qualities of successful entrepreneurship – from drive, ambition, vision and tenacity to inspirational leadership, creativity, inventiveness and confidence.

Commitment to People Development

This award recognises organisations which demonstrate a firm commitment to people development and the implementation and promotion of a learning and development culture, as well as how employee wellbeing is supported. 

One of our core values is our commitment to our people so we are delighted to have been shortlisted in this category. It’s something we work hard on every single day, always committing to people over profits.

EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

Excellent customer service is the lifeblood of our business and what we work tirelessly to ensure is evident in everything we do.

The judges will be looking for an organisation which delivers industry-leading standards of service and constantly strives to exceed customer expectations and how the customer service strategy impacts the business performance.
