Sneak Peek at Our New Autumn Winter Menu (And Get 20% Off!)


It's that time of year when the harvest starts to come in of beetroot, blackberries and Brussels sprouts or the pumpkins, peppers and parsnips.

The Peak District fields are abundant with fresh colourful produce and our talented chef team collaborates with our local suppliers to pick the best of the best.

This Autumn/Winter we're offering 20% off the new menu Monday to Saturday from Wednesday, October 4th until Saturday, October 21st (exclusions apply). Keep scrolling through the sneak peek to find out how!


On the sneak peek we're giving you a tease of our pheasant and chicken terrine with prosciutto and spiced blackcurrant chutney served with seeded bread (Gluten Free Available).

Or how about the hot smoked salmon mousseline with celeriac remoulade and pickled cucumber (Gluten Free).


For the mains we thought we'd tempt you with a trio to tantalise those taste buds;

The trio of Derbyshire pies;
– venison pie, apple
– ham and bacon lardon fidget pie
– Shepherd’s pie
All served with creamy mashed potato and gravy.

Chicken supreme which sits atop delicious dauphinoise potato, spinach and bacon cream sauce with wild mushrooms (Gluten Free).

And finally the pheasant crown wrapped in pancetta, truffle celeriac purée, grilled leeks, braised red cabbage and blackberry pheasant jus (Gluten Free)


When you dine at The Maynard it would be a crime to not leave room for dessert!

Make sure you've got space to taste the apple, cinnamon and golden syrup sponge pudding served with vanilla ice cream (Vegetarian).

Or why not go for the peach and ginger cheesecake, with ginger syrup and raspberry sorbet (Gluten Free) (Vegetarian).
