The George Hathersage Closed Due to Flooding

Sadly, due to unprecedented floods in Hathersage caused by Storm Babet, The George was forced to close on Friday, 20th October 2023.

After an initial ‘all hands on deck’ clear up operation, it became apparent that a lot needs replacing, testing and ensuring electrics, gas and appliances are safe. Therefore, The George will remain closed for a full refurbishment for 4-6 months.
