Merry Christmas from Longbow Venues

Merry Christmas From Us to You

On behalf of everyone at Longbow Venues, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

It's going to feel almighty strange not seeing the faces of our regulars this Christmas Day but we know it's the right thing to do.

We made the decision to close on Christmas Day to allow our hard-working teams the chance to enjoy making memories with their families.

We hope you're doing the same with yours today.

Festive Fun For All

Thank you so much for supporting us with our programme of Christmas events.

We were so disappointed to have to cancel the Festive Christmas Markets due to the unexpected heavy snow but we look forward to making next year's even bigger and better.

The pie and peas evenings with the Grumpah Band have gone down a storm, as have the Breakfast With Santa events. That one though mainly, selfishly, for me! You're never too old to sit on Santa's lap!

Next Year Expect to Enjoy More

We didn't expect The George to be closed this Christmas (more on that in a New Year blog I've been cooking up) but it's just lit a fire in us to make next Christmas jam-packed with lovely, heartwarming, fun and delicious things to enjoy. After all, we'll have three venues to bring the Christmas magic to; The Maynard, The George and The Ashford Arms.

Right, I'm off to enjoy Christmas with my family, pop open the first (of many) bottles of wine and cook with my dad for the first time in over a decade.

Wishing you the very best Christmas,

Rob and the team at Longbow Venues
