Our Mothering Sunday menu has been expertly created by Group Executive Chef, Adrian Gagea who trained under Raymond Blanc.
Our loved and respected Peak District suppliers include Winster Foods in Chesterfield, The Ginger Butchers in Bakewell and RG Morris Fishmongers in Buxton. They work closely with Adrian to source the freshest, highest quality produce for us that goes into our famous dishes.
TO START
This Mothering Sunday, on 30 March, indulge in this special menu that includes home-baked sourdough bread with whipped salted butter before your choice from a selection of starters.
The ham hock and tarragon terrine with piccalilli gel, rocket salad and ciabatta crostini will prove popular along with the creamy garlic mushrooms cooked in a creamy Madeira sauce.
For something a little different and completely refreshing, why not try the pea, spinach and mint soup with crumbled feta and chive oil?
For your main course, our famous Sunday roast with all the seasonal traditional trimmings including Yorkshire pudding is a delicious Sunday staple with a refined twist. Choose from sirloin of beef, chicken supreme, loin of pork or Derbyshire reared lamb shank.
For those following a plant-based diet, the maple-roasted root vegetable wellington from the roast selection is always a popular choice. The courgette and romesco tagliatelle with courgette velouté, roasted almonds and red pepper and fennel salad is another vegetarian dish to be experienced.
DIVINE DESSERTS
Dessert is not to be skipped with the classic sticky toffee pudding with burnt apple purée, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
