Easter at Chatsworth House
If you've never been before, it's a treat to spend a day at Chatsworth House and gardens.
Chatsworth House itself is a magnificent stately home renowned for its grand architecture, stunning gardens, rich history, and impressive art collection plus with plenty of family-friendly activities, it's a wonderful place to take your children, especially over the Easter break.
There are so many activities running over Easter with most included in the ticket price. However, please do check the Chatsworth website for full pricing and details.

Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Thornbridge Hall
Thornbridge Hall is hosting fun-filled activities from 7th to 21st April.
The Carriage House will be transformed into an Easter Fun Zone, featuring arts and crafts, games, and a film club, along with delicious seasonal treats and refreshments.
Youngsters can also embark on an Easter egg hunt around the beautiful gardens, searching for decorated eggs to win a prize.
Entry to the gardens includes access to all activities, with tickets priced at £8 for adults, £4 for kids, and free entry for under 3s. You save 20% on ticket prices when you pre-book here.
Lego Printing & Posca Pen Workshops at thornbridge hall
On Friday 11th April, kids can unleash their imagination in a Lego Printing Workshop, using Lego bricks to create unique prints on card and paper.
On Monday 14th April, artist Dave Elsom of Sombrero Printmaking will lead a Posca Pen Workshop, where children can experiment with acrylic paint markers on stones, bookmarks, and more.
Both workshops include garden access for one child and one accompanying adult, with all materials provided for £20 per child. Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended!

Easter at Matlock Farm Park
From 5th to 21st April, the Easter Egg-Stravaganza takes place at Matlock Farm Park.
Highlights include;
- Meet the cade lambs, learn about their care, and watch them being bottle-fed
- Easter Treasure Trail every day of the holidays, winning mini prizes along the way

Easter Weekend Activities
Good Friday through to Easter Monday
Over the Easter weekend, there's even more fun on offer with Easter Egg Hunts, meet the Easter Bunny, and take part in the Find the Golden Egg challenge to win a special prize.
Good Friday – Dinosaur Fun Day
On Good Friday (18th April), dinosaurs take over the park with Dinosaur Fun Day, where families can get up close to Rita the T-Rex and baby dinos while joining in an exciting dinosaur dig site adventure.
Easter Sunday – The Big Bubbleman
On Easter Sunday (20th April), prepare for a Bubble Spectacular with The Big Bubbleman, creating giant bubbles, swirling clouds of colourful bubbles, and giving children the chance to make their own magical bubble creations.
Tickets are £16.50 for children and £18.50 for adults over Easter. Discounts are available for family passes, senior citizens, carers, NHS and Armed Forces. Under 2s go free.

Easter at Peak Village
