Ahead of the celebrations for English Wine Week (21–29 June 2025), we’re delighted to collaborate with our wine supplier, Hattersley Wines in Bakewell and welcome Henners Vineyard to The Maynard. This promises to be a very special evening of English wine, exceptional food, and expert wine insights.
Join us on Thursday 19th June from 7pm for an intimate Meet the Maker dinner, hosted by Master of Wine, Mike Best.
This three-course dinner with paired wines from Henners is a must-attend event for any wine lover and foodie.

Sarah Hattersley, from Hattersley Wines, our wine supplier at Longbow Venues, said, 'We are blessed to be welcoming Mike Best MW to host the Henners Tasting event.
“Mike is a highly accomplished MW, having earned the prestigious title in 2020 and is known for his expertise in English wine, among other regions.
“When Mike isn’t working as an ambassador for Henners or portfolio manager for Boutinot Wines he can be found teaching and examining Master of Wine Scholars across the globe."
