What Coeliac UK Accreditation Means

Coeliac UK is the leading charity supporting people who live without gluten. They provide independent, trustworthy guidance to ensure individuals can enjoy safe and delicious meals when dining out.

Being accredited by Coeliac UK means that our kitchen and front-of-house teams have undergone thorough training and assessment to ensure that our gluten-free dishes are prepared safely, carefully and to the highest standard.

Gluten-Free dining at The Maynard

From breakfast through to dinner, we offer an extensive and mouth-watering selection of gluten-free options. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed brunch, a special celebration or a Sunday roast with family, you’ll find dishes that are crafted with care and attention to detail.

Here are just a few of our gluten-free favourites:

Starters

  • Wild mushroom & thyme arancini, roasted pepper velouté, micro herbs
  • Twice-baked cheese soufflé, blue cheese sauce, rocket salad, herb oil

Mains

  • Pan-fried duck breast, hoisin duck pâté wrapped in a spinach pancake, sweet potato purée, tempura broccoli, cashew & hoisin sauce
  • Chicken supreme with dauphinoise potatoes, truffle & mushroom sauce, roasted carrots and smoked bacon crumbs

Desserts

  • Winter pavlova, berry compote, vanilla Chantilly cream, raspberry sorbet and caramel sauce
  • Chocolate brownie served with spiced plum mousse, mulled wine plum coulis, mango sorbet

Celebrating Our Team: Employee of the Month – Leo 🌟

While we’re celebrating good news, we also want to shine a spotlight on our Employee of the Month, Leo!

Leo first joined us for a week of work experience last year and immediately impressed everyone with his enthusiasm and positive attitude. As soon as he turned 16, he became a full member of The Maynard team, and he’s been a ray of sunshine ever since.

Whether he’s running food, helping at weddings or tackling a mountain of glassware after a busy Sunday, Leo approaches every task with a smile. He’s the first to lend a hand, the first to volunteer for the next job and always lifts everyone’s spirits.

We all agree that Leo is an absolute pleasure to work with, a young star with a bright future ahead. 🌟
