Yes, the room has large windows along two sides of the room with views over the Derwent Valley.

Is there free onsite parking?

We have up to 40 inclusive parking spaces along with additional along the road. The train station is also walking distance with access from Manchester and Sheffield.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, there is air-conditioning along with patio doors should you prefer fresh air.

For the larger multi-day events The Maynard offers 19 beautifully appointed bedrooms, perfect for getaway conferencing.

With 60 parking spaces and excellent rail links to Manchester and Sheffield, The Maynard in Grindleford is the perfect countryside spot for your next business retreat.

What’s included

Your event includes everything you need for a productive and enjoyable day, with a projector and screen, flip charts, and all essential stationery ready to go. Guests can enjoy delicious food served throughout the day, from energising smoothie breaks to a beautifully prepared lunch, alongside locally sourced tea and coffee plus filtered still and sparkling water.

For those staying overnight, accommodation is available along with an evening meal served in our cosy, beautifully designed restaurant, where guests can enjoy delicious, freshly prepared dishes made with the best local ingredients. The following morning, a generous, flavour-packed breakfast is served to start the day refreshed, energised, and ready to go.
