At The Maynard, taste means everything to us.

As an independent business rooted in the Peak District, we do fresh, quality food from field to farm to fork. We pride ourselves on tasty, delicious food, done well.

Everything on our menu is homemade by our talented team, under the guidance of executive chef, Adrian Gagea who worked under Raymond Blanc before relocating to the Peak District.

Forget edible flowers, foam and gel. We do fuss-free dishes, made with the best locally sourced ingredients. Yes, the dishes look great on Instagram but the real-life lasting impression will linger on your taste buds. We guarantee you’ll be back for more!

Our beef, pork and lamb are sourced from local suppliers, who raise and nurture their own livestock through traditional farming values.

We work with local and regional producers and suppliers were to ensure we never compromise on freshness, taste and quality.

The quality and ethics of the food and drink we provide is non-negotiable and we hope that this reflects in your meal.
