Whether it is an intimate celebration or a grand dinner and dance, The Maynard is a unique and stylish choice for an unforgettable day in the heart of the Peak District with breath-taking views all across the Hope Valley. The Chatsworth Suite is our exclusive wedding space and underwent a makeover in January 2020 to enhance the elegance of this room. Through beautiful original features, this ballroom assists in creating a vision of style for your bespoke wedding.
The Maynard is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 130 day guests and 200 evening guests. Our experienced wedding and events team will guide and advise you each step of the way, helping you to design the envisaged day that is personalised to you.
Wedding Fayres
Stay tuned for upcoming wedding fayres and showcase evenings. Come along and meet potential suppliers, view the venue and let us give you inspiration to your perfect day.
Whether it be bridal dresses, venue stylists, photographers, musicians or something you’ve not even thought of yet, they will all be there to chat to. The Maynard wedding planners will be there should you be thinking of booking a wedding with us.
Wedding Fayres and Showcases
Join us at The Maynard for our wedding fayres (in partnership with local wedding suppliers) and our wedding showcases (hosted by us), where we’ll show you around the stunning Chatsworth Suite. You’ll have a chance to chat with our dedicated wedding coordinators and see if The Maynard is the right choice for your big day.
All events are completely free to attend. No booking is required. Sunday events usually start around 11 am and Tuesday evening events start around 6 pm.
Sunday, July 14th – Wedding Showcase hosted by the events team at The Maynard
Sunday, September 29th – Wedding Fayre with local wedding suppliers at The Maynard
Tuesday, October 1st – Wedding Showcase hosted by the events team at The Maynard
